In the fastest, and sorriest example of a corporate flip-flop, Cracker Barrel, which previously had started to remove Duck Dynasty merchandise from its shelves, has changed its mind and flipped back, under pressure from the zombie teabagger hordes.

I suppose that Corporate took a look at their customer demographics, and felt they had no choice...

Cracker Barrel puts 'Duck Dynasty' items back on shelves

Brian Wilson, The Tennessean 3:51 p.m. EST December 22, 2013

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store reversed course Sunday, putting back on its shelves the products it had removed because they were tied to a star of the cable hit Duck Dynasty.

In a statement on its Facebook page, Cracker Barrel said, "When we made the decision to remove and evaluate certain Duck Dynasty items, we offended many of our loyal customers. Our intent was to avoid offending, but that's just what we've done.

"You told us we made a mistake. And, you weren't shy about it. You wrote, you called and you took to social media to express your thoughts and feelings. You flat out told us we were wrong."

The Lebanon, Tenn.-based restaurant company initially removed certain products made by Duck Commander, the business run by the Robertson family of the A&E show, "which we were concerned might offend some of our guests."

Let me get this straight. Cracker Barrel apologized to a bunch of racist, homophobic teabagger scumfucks, for offending them? Wow. That's pretty fucking craven, even for a phony-ass corporation that makes money by serving shitty food with a heaping dose of fake-folksy.

I'm sorry, I'm part of that population demographic that revels in offending bigoted shitbags. Any business that caters to those fucks is giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

Granted, I've only eaten at KKKracker Barrel once every five years or so. That ends, and it should also end for you. Boycott Cracker Barrel as long as they act as enablers for bigotry.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
