We've seen GOPers - usually Sarah Palin - defend Dr. Laura when she tossed the N-word a dozen times at a Black Listener on Air.

It was Conservatives and Fox News who ran to lovingly embrace and defend Teen-Killer George Zimmerman when the NAACP denounced his actions as Racist.

It was Conservative Blogger Andrew Breitbart who couldn't help himself from salivating at releasing the heavily edited video tape of Shirley Sherrod before the NAACP and spinning that tape into a false accusation of anti-White Racism, when in fact the opposite was True.

In further attacking the NAACP for their criticism of Racist Signs and statements within the Tea Party, it was Tea Party Express Leader Mark Williams who decided it would be "funny" to done cyber-black-face and write his own version of the NAACP talking to Lincoln and asking to please stop all that Emancipation Talk because the "Coloreds" just love themselves some Slavery (aka Entitlements).

We Colored People have taken a vote and decided that we don't cotton to that whole emancipation thing. Freedom means having to work for real, think for ourselves, and take consequences along with the rewards. That is just far too much to ask of us Colored People and we demand that it stop!
You had Breibart acolyte James O'Keefe whose falsely edited videos managed to bring down A.C.O.R.N. [for the horrible sin of registering black people to vote, and getting them loans for housing] only to end in his paying a $100,000 Settlement to one of fired A.C.O.R.N. employees who had called the Police on Him on the very first day.

But none of those guys, nor the NYPD's Stop-N-Frisk Policy are "Racist" the GOP will tell you. Not a single one. Not the Birthers.  Not the guy who told Obama "You Lie" in the middle of his Joint Address to Congress. Not the Tea Party with their Obama Witchdoctor signs.  Not the people who say he's a Marxist, or a say that "ObamaCare is Slavery".

Except for perhaps the guy I will introduce to you over the flip.

A 44-year-old Florida man is custody after being accused of throwing pieces of bricks at children and shouting racial slurs at them before trying to escape from police on his ex-wife’s bicycle.

Kenton began arguing with his daughter because he did not approve of her dating an African-American youth and referred to her as a “n*gger lover,” according to the arrest report.

As he was exiting the home, he apparently saw the boyfriend and shouted, “You are the one!”  Kenton was accused of hitting the boy in the face and the head, and then choking him. Police said that he then picked up a brick and used it to strike the boy in the back of the head.

After an unidentified man came to assist the boy, Kenton began shouting racial slurs at nearby children and throwing pieces of bricks at them. The arrest report said that at least two of the children were hit. Police said that Kenton hopped on his ex-wife’s bicycle and attempted to flee from them, but was quickly caught. He faces charges on multiple counts of aggravated child abuse, resisting an officer, driving under the influence, driving with license revoked and battery. He was also charged for having an unregistered motor vehicle.

If calling his own daughter a "Nigger lover", attacking her boyfriend with a brick, tossing bricks at the kids in the neighborhood and ultimately resisting arrest while trying to flee on a bicycle. [Also: doing all this while intoxicated] isn't enough for just about everyone to agree that this guy has doubled-down on the "R-Card" with a Capital "R".

Then I really don't know what it's gonna take.

Honestly, when asked or challenged to take a stand on this guys behavior, I expect the GOP to either go-comatose or try to whistle quietly past this moral graveyard.

Just like they have with Phil Robertson's statements that seem to indicate that Jim Crow was better for Black People. It's been part of the base GOP dogma under the "Southern Strategy" to sew the seeds of White Racial Resentment for the Civil Rights Movement and the Great Society in order to maintain the solidarity of their own extremely white, increasing elderly, fearful and angry base.

“From now on, the Republicans are never going to get more than 10 to 20 percent of the Negro vote and they don’t need any more than that…but Republicans would be shortsighted if they weakened enforcement of the Voting Rights Act. The more Negroes who register as Democrats in the South, the sooner the Negrophobe whites will quit the Democrats and become Republicans. That’s where the votes are. Without that prodding from the blacks, the whites will backslide into their old comfortable arrangement with the local Democrats.”
Hence we have the Tea Party.

So will anyone in the GOP have the stones to denounce Kenton?  I doubt it. Why break the streak of being a pack of race-baiting assholes now? They just can't bring themselves to do, or say, the right and honorable thing - it's not who they are.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
