Everyone who reads the "Kos" knows the important news in Seattle before I do. I live here. The "Kos" beats our local papers many times on stories. All of you therefore, know
about the teacher fired for getting married to the man he loves.. Catholics have rules against folks being happy.

I tell few stories about my squad in Vietnam,I tried once and was called a fraud, and having been in Gettysburg when I said I had seen many dead soldiers. I quickly
checked my DD-214 (discharge papers) to make sure what war I was in. Thank God! I know I"m old,but not THAT old. I guess the reader thought I was a clerk. That"s fine.
I sure have fooled the Veterans Department. This Bronze Star can be purchased at any gas station.

In our squad, it was not uncommon for fellows to bring  ladies in to play cards and
discuss politics. If you believe what you just read, I have "I love Republican"s"
stickers for sale. One man never went near the ladies, always had a reason. The guys
kidded him as being a pxxxy but let it go because this man did his job well.
He was a damm good medic.

I once was accused of being qxxxr because I never touched the ladies. I said I was the smart one, I was not going to catch something and have my xxxx fall off.
Trust me,that explanation worked.

I kept in touch with two or three guys after the War and all of them thought the man
I was talking about and myself were Gay. No one said anything because
we did our job.

The man WAS Gay and is now a Doctor.I am not Gay but my ex-wife accused me of that because I was seen going into a Gay bar. I broke down laughing when I said
I was just using the restroom. That bathroom was very clean.

It"s public record that The National Association Of Black Veterans were the folks
who got me help and benefit help with the VA.  I am white. I admit to asking my friend
if I would cause him any problems, he looked at me,and and said".....Oh!that thing,
we only take ugly and crazy white boy"s to help". You are UGLY  and the Craziest
white boy I have ever seen!"

It"s now 2014 ,and we STILL are talking about gay and color issues. The
content of a persons"s soul is still ignorned by many, sorry Dr.King.

I wrote a story about "Pink people". It is about a time when a bunch of us were
standing in line trying to decide what color a person woud look cool being.

Maybe I should ask all my religious friends to discuss ALL their bedroom habits.
Our Country has no other problems to talk about........right?

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
