Two crimes were committed under the two executives; both were unsuccessfully covered up. Both involved high ranking staff within their respective administrations. While it is known that President Nixon was the chief culprit in the Watergate scandal, Governor Christie's fate is still up in the air. At this point, we don't know what the result of the New Jersey investigations, et al, will turn up. We don't know if there will be criminal or even ethical charges brought; although, it is much more than likely. Here, the similarities appear to end; yet, a personal comparison of the two men is not out of the question.
See what you think beneath the whatever that is.
For Nixon, I ran across this by Will Black at Huffington Post:
Considering the hallmarks of psychopathy, as laid out in the latest 'Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders', in relation to Nixon is interesting. Many of his 'qualities' seem to fit the characteristics of the diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder. These include: self-esteem derived from personal gain, power, or pleasure; failure to conform to lawful or culturally normative ethical behavior, lack of concern for feelings, needs, or suffering of others; lack of remorse after hurting or mistreating another, exploitation is a primary means of relating to others, deceit, the use of dominance or intimidation to control others and misrepresentation of the self.

As for Christie, I couldn't find any analysis of repute, but take a look at the highlighted portions above, and I believe that we can gain, at least, some insight. This is not to say that Christie has an anti-social disorder. There is far to little here and I am a layman.
All I know for sure is that he may not be fucked up, but he is totally fucked.
