Going to be a really quick diary. On the ferry now (delayed by fog this morning), but I saw a link to this story on Facebook.

It seems that a case against a Christie crony was completely dismissed, with the prosecutor being fired on the spot. This came directly from the governor's office. It's one thing to pull the bone-headed stunt of closing lanes on the George Washington Bridge, apparently thinking this was appropriate behavior, but quite another to shut down a case that had already returned indictments from a grand jury.
So there it is. Sometimes being caught in the fog is a good thing.
Thanks to my Staten Island buddy, NY Joyce (her Facebook name) for posting this.
I will try to comment on my lunch hour - around 1 pm today.
