Mitt Romney's former finance chairman definitely isn't attending an upcoming fundraiser for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R).
"The guy, as a person, is horrific," Brian Ballard, a lobbyist and former finance chairman for Mitt Romney said, according to the Miami Herald.

I know that just some quote from some Romney fundraiser, who seems to be some Bagger/Establishment hybrid.... but I still felt the urge to opine on the state of Teaparty USA.
First of all, who knew "teabagger" could become such a bad word.... I feel guilty of some sort of self-hating white guy (me) reverse bigotry against myself when I say or write it.... But should I? Really, some idiots just wore tea bags on their hats...
Anyhow, in my opinion, that "horrific" statement seems like more evidence that the Teaparty uber-conservative wing are (smartly) training their fire on the money flowing to Establishment candidates, and former Establishment Center Fold Chris Christie as exhibit A, and who is looking more and more toasty lately from friend fire.... It appears the money men in GOP DC machine see that Teaparty USA is now calling the shots in the GOP, lead by Rush Limbaugh.
And it being a Romney man? (Who sounds kind of teabaggerish for a Romney man, evidence of this new breed being born in DC....)
"Charlie Crist got a lot of grief for what was called a hug of Obama. But what Christie did to Obama isn't suitable to say in a family newspaper," Ballard said. "I firmly believe he helped swing that election in Obama's favor just to help himself. I busted my ass for two years raising money and supporting Romney and this guy Christie just wiped his hands of us when we were no longer useful to him."

Very strange situation to witness, these imploding GOPers.
And the read here is: nobody in the GOP who wants donor money should be nice to a Democrat, because liberals are subhuman and recognizing them with any basic respect undermines Teaparty USA's campaign of dehumanization, a la Rush Limbaugh.
The House leadership know all about public displays of Teapol hostility. They have committed sacrilege as well. They openly liked Latinos. And helping the poor?
Teaparty USA says government is for destroying others, like in Iraq, or for destroying itself, as in removing any regulation of business or assistance for Americans, not for helping the poor.
Point is, the civil war is playing out in public because the GOP is trying to discover what it stands for.
Well, maybe this guy didn't infer all that but I felt like sharing....
