GOOD NEWS!
Postmodernista's situation is improving and she'll likely resume coordinating and chief moderatorship very soon. For the moment, you can kosmail to me your topic and preferred date, and what help you need if any, or you can post comments of same at this schedule-diary.
January 26 - diary by Darwinian Detrius - working title:
ON DOCTRINE AND DOCTORING (looking at some of the consequences
of a professional world view set in stone, and the possiblity of a paradigm shift)
February 2 - your diary here
February 9 - diary by Kitsap River - working title:
WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH FALL OVER (balance problems)
February 16 - your diary here
February 23 - ditto
March 2 - etc
In our queue unscheduled as yet: THE DO-ABLE RENEWABLE HOME and MUSIC BENEFITS THE BRAIN & HELPS PHYSICAL ISSUES ACROSS THE LIFESPAN (both are by me - fair warning!)
Recidivist writers (bit 'o' humor) and novices alike welcome. Members please click on "Queue" at the top of KosAbility's mainpage (our mainpage link is this); and when you're on the Queue page then click on DIARY INSTRUCTIONS - DO NOT PUBLISH to read how to set up your diary title, and how to include the KosAbility logo-block, also basic tag instructions. An editor can help with various basics IF you queue your diary enough days ahead for kosmailing back'n'forth about it. If you don't know how to put your diary into the KosAbility queue, explanation can be supplied for that to0, which is necessary so editor and writer can before publication be "on the same page" literally! ;)
POSTSCRIPT TO THE JANUARY 19 DIARY
I owe the group an apology for titling that diary the way the medical journal articles for it were titled. That was a serious error on my part, and I deeply regret it and the misconceptions of its focus that resulted. The title has been corrected to: PTSD, DEPRESSION & ANXIETY MAY SEE NEW HOPE IN OLD DRUGS.
KosAbility is a Sunday 4pm(Pacific time) community series by volunteer diarists, as a gathering for people living with disabilities, who love someone with a disability, or who want to know more on the issues. Our use of "disability" includes temporary as well as permanent conditions, from small, gnawing problems to major, life-threatening ones. Our use of "love someone" extends to beloved members of other species.
Our discussions are open threads in the context of this community. Feel free to comment on the diary topic, ask questions of the diarist or generally to everyone, share something you've learned, tell bad jokes, post photos, or rage about your situation. Our only rule is to be kind; trolls will be spayed or neutered. If you are interested in contributing a diary, contact series coordinator postmodernista.
