Chris Christie was in Moonachie, NJ this morning and told a crowd of people:
It’s days like this that inspire me to keep going. When you see folks like Chris and Rob, and how grateful they are to have their lives back — I mean, that’s the best gift that any Governor can possible get. And so, to all the folks here: volunteers, residents of Moonachie, local officials, legislative leaders, County Executive Donovan, all the folks who are here — and Kyla from the Girl Scouts, who has her community service badge. She’s been in the Girl Scouts for six years, she’s got her hundred year anniversary pin on there, she is like totally made up today for Troop 1519 — representing 1519. I see Miss New Jersey over here. Miss New Jersey’s here as well. Dressed to work — dressed to work. And the great thing is she’s got the bibs and the sash. I’ve never seen that before. That’s a picture we should definitely take. Miss New Jersey—it is perfect for our state, isn’t it? It’s perfect. We have beautiful, wonderful people in this state who also have huge hearts. And, they’re not just ready to talk, they’re ready to work
