The incredible,
explosive reporting done by MSNBC's Steve Kornacki regarding allegations of misappropriation of Federal funds for Hurricane Sandy disaster aid is clearly an area for review by the House Government Oversight Committee. I mean, this kind of thing, not Benghazi, should be right up their alley.
And what about HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan? By all accounts he's a tidy, upright, do it by the books public official. Seems to me Kornacki's reporting merits some deep digging on the part of Federal officials to make sure every single penny is being spent appropriately. I don't know how money for a senior center that was supposed to cost $500,000 in state money before Hurricane Sandy ended up being a $6 million project in Federal money when the place wasn't even flooded, but if I were HUD Secretary I would damn sure want to know.
The Daily News says 'Put Christie under oath' and I couldn't agree more.
What say you Issa? Donovan?
