Click on the above commercial. Go ahead! No, seriously, watch the above Coca-Cola Commercial and tell me how many non-whites are in that group.  Do you know when this commercial came out? Freaking 1971!

Now, click on the video below and watch it through the end. Are you feeling sick or are you feeling giddy? Your state of mind at this moment is pretty much how I can tell if you are a raving racist, right-wing nut or a doe-eyed, gay loving liberal. Because as far as I can tell, if you are one of them who felt violated by this new supposedly “feel-good-feeling-so-drink-a-coke” assault on your psyche, then you haven't been paying attention for the last 43 years.

For you information, Pepsi has been doing it as well but in a timid sort of way. Pepsi’s 1971 take on the American life was covered in white middle-class suburban bullshit. But, hey, they ended the video with a picture of a black couple. That’s like, “WHOA! I wonder where these two black people came from!”

And Pepsi has not changed a bit. Their newest TV AD about weekend football has the lone obligatory black guy on it. Awkward! 90% of football players are black! Because playing in sports is the only way to get out of their societal hole. Well, At least  they stayed true to period piece ad -- it is supposed to be a "back in the days football." They should have had the black guy carry the cooler.

To say that this commercial is again fueling racial expletives and so-called debate is a joke. I say to all of you: It's time for all of you racists and bigots and ignorant people to disappear and vanish from the face of this earth. America was not yours to begin with. People who spoke different dialects in each of their tribes inhabited this country. They owned this country, you don’t. The first foreign people who came also originated from different parts of this Earth, and they came with their own language or dialect. You should know that, your great grandfather was probably speaking Dutch or Polish or German or Yiddish. So, maybe this is not really about language, it is about the color of my skin. Isn’t it? Yes, American English is the de facto language of this country, but it is NOT the real everyday language or dialect in each and every family on every home of this country. Nor is it a federally mandated National Language.

This is not actually a debate. There is no room for debate here. You don't get to argue your way, or call some anti-patriotic bullshit because we – the non-whites – are as patriotic as you are and as American as you are - some of us just speak another language or dialect to state and declare our patriotism for this country.

There's no controversy here. Mainstream Media just pushes this bullshit because most people don't pay attention to mainstream media anymore. The cornered and defeated racists and bigots of this country is just a very minor annoyance lashing out its last gasp before suffocating itself in ignominy.

It is time for you to either accept the fact that this country is evolving and will always be evolving like the rest of the world – or go away and move somewhere else in silence.

Or, you can declare a revolution. Let’s really finish this American Transformation. I am tired of your presence here. We could have been doing so much great stuff in this century; instead, we are edging back to your plantations and your neo-colonial illiteracy and ignorance.  And I have enough of you.

Now let's have some fun and watch an awesome, kind of cheesy, Coke Commercial in the Middle East. BRRRRRRR! Seriously! BRRRRRRRRR!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
