The Four Mouseketeers are: State Sens. Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard, vulture capitalist Bruce Rauner and the current Treasurer Dan Rutherford.
My, my. How sweet it is! Here's the background on this collection of TeaBaggered wannabes.
Dan Rutherford:
Rutherford is the current treasurer of Illinois. He is accused of sexually harassing a male employee, Ed Michalowski, and demanding sex and full body massages from him during the 2012 GOP convention. Kyle Ham, Rutherford’s chief of staff and Michalowski’s boss, is also accused in the newly filed suit. He apparently forced Michalowski to perform political activity while working on the State payroll, as he refused to look into Michalowski's allegations of sexual harassment against Rutherford.
Politically, Rutherford would have been the most moderate, in the same vein that Rand Paul is the most moderate TeaBaggered Senator. Except, honestly? Everyone else is actually worse.
Bruce Rauner:
He has been polluting the Illinois airways with millions in advertising (including a pseudo boxing match calling the current Democratic Governor a loser). He hired a lawyer to blackmail Rutherford into settling the sex harassment allegations by promising to keep them secret if Rutherford settled up.
Rauner is a real piece of (What's that word that rhymes with spit? Oh, yeah) WORK. A venture capitalist (those who have dealt with him say the first word should be "vulture") He wants to dismantle the public employee pension program, cut school "waste" by cutting public teacher pay and moving to privatization, cut taxes for big business, and do pretty much everything TeaBaggers and ALEC want their next puppet to do.
In a recent debate, he proposed that the state should take a tougher stance on eradicating Medicaid fraud, calling the program “broken and corrupt and out of control.” One way he wants to accomplish this is by effectively eradicating Medicaid.
Rauner brags that he raised $4,000,000 in campaign funds, forgetting to mention that $3,999,950 of that amount was self-funded. Woe to Illinois of Rauner is elected. He'd make Scott Walker look brilliant and administratively talented in comparison.
Only because of the millions he has spent out of pocket can he be considered a minor league front-runner.
FROM THE CHURCH OF INEFFABLE STUPIDITY:
Bill Brady:
Brady was the previous GOP nominee, and of all of these loons, probably the sanest of the group. But that was then, and this is now. According to his website, he has swallowed the ALEC sperm whole as he fellates the Illinois TeaBagger continent a dozen at a time:
Real lawsuit abuse reform, overhauling the state's workers compensation system to protect injured workers and reduce costs to government, job creation tax credits and elimination of excessive, job-killing taxes and fees on business and Illinois citizens.
Translation? Screw the worker, reward the company bosses.

Kirk Dillard:
Dillard used to be a moderate, at least when compared to other GOPers. Now, he rejects raising the minimum wage, thinks that medical marijuana is a crime, and has taken on a whole slew of teabuggered positions. A "forked tongue" has nothing on Dillard. Just check out this exchange:
Points to a fertilizer plant that located in Iowa because the owner fears he will be billed for Illinois’ unfunded pensions. “Iowa is clean. Illinois is not. This is a real jobs killer.”
vs.
“Illinois has twice as many Fortune 500 companies as any of the states surrounding it. Microsoft employs more University of Illinois graduates than it does from any other college. We can turn this around.”
Either the Illinois economy has a greatest number of high tech jobs in the midwest, or it is a real jobs killer. It cannot be both. Except on Dillard's website.

What is astounding is how these guys are marching in lockstep to the right. They literally try to out-Teabag each other. The recent debate was a a spectacle to behold. If only they had been asked about creationism, our Good Flat Earth, and how the USSR is plotting with Fascists in Europe to have Iran and Belgium invade America and force Sharia law upon our christian country. After all I am sure that all four would agree that our four fathers were all conservative christians.
