Virginia becomes the first state in the South to strike down a ban on gay marriage and proves that the equal marriage is on the march throughout the country. On a personal note, it makes me happy as a citizen of Virginia to know that we struck down our gay marriage ban before the Supreme Court rules that all such bans across the country are unconstitutional.
