So far $50 total from two sources has been raised.  I was able to pay for some help for the dog, but today the bank threw me a curve, and because of overdraft charges and check advance fees, I am literally at zero in the bank account.

Over 500 dollars I was counting on for working last month is gone because I don't have enough money--zero in both savings and checking--to advance any more money.  I am completely and totally screwed for at least another week, and the amount of THAT money from PERS is a mere $300.  I am supposed to get money from the Nevada Department of Treasury on the unclaimed property, but that will likely take another week or two weeks since only one person handles stock claims.

I am in a real bad situation with regard to the dog because the vet will no longer authorize any pet meds unless he has a followup exam.  They estimate that exam at about $120.  The vet says she has to be able to do work on him to make sure he is having no side effects (particularly with the kidney).  Sam's pills are good until the end of the next week.  After that, both of us are screwed.  The storage unit rent fee is piling up because I can't pay anything on it, and that means this month's and next month's is coming due by the end of the month.  I have about 90 dollars or so due on it.

Please if you can donate even a little, it's appreciated.  I hate to even ask, but this has been one domino effect after another.  I just don't know how long I can stand this.  I was counting on being "in the clear," and this crap happens.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
