You can not be outraged at this:

Rant begins after the Great Orange Squiggle

All day long I have been listening to the very serious people who very seriously discuss politics and very serious situations on TV "debate" the issue of whether or not it is appropriate for a sitting President of the United States of America to do comedy in a time of crisis.  To all of you very serious pundits who have been having this debate:

How fucking dare you ass hats believe that appearing on Between 2 Ferns is worse than mocking the very reason we went into a war that costs thousands of American lives and wasted billions of dollars.

How dare you say that a President of the United States must maintain some baseline of decorum and should not appear on a comedy web cast during a time of crisis - while not uttering a god damn word about a President during a time of WAR doing a two bit stand up routine making fun of his entire premise used to kill American soldiers.

If you were not outraged at the actions of GWB - then keep your damn mouth shut!  Damn bunch of hypocrites - During this very serious discussion today on TV not one fucking person brought up the George Bush WMD routine at the White House Correspondence Dinner - is their fucking memory that bad or are they just media hacks?  Either way the answer is FUCK YOU!

End of Rant

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
