Hopes to end the search search for the missing MH370 are heightened.
MH370: two objects found possibly linked to Malaysia Airways plane
It seems the investigation has moved on and the Australians are searching in what seems to be a likely area for the aircraft to have ended up. And now potential debris has been spotted. Expert analysis suggests the findings are ‘credible’. Satellite captured images have been publicly released dated Sunday 16 March. It may be assumed they have later images also.
John Young, the general manager of the Australian Maritime and Safety Authority, suggested the authorities had taken their time to analyse the images before stating that they could have been debris from MH370.
The assessment of these images was provided by the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation as a possible indication of debris south of the search area that has been the focus of the search operation.
At a news conference Civil aviation chief Azharuddin Abdul Rahman spreads more confusion by suggesting the Australian satellite images were taken this morning, despite Sunday’s date on the images. He is corrected by Hishammuddin who points out that the news was received this morning.
According to sources the sea floor in the area where the debris was discovered is around 3000 meters and flat and featureless. 3000 meters well within range of ROV's. That brings hope the black box can be recovered.

It may now be just a matter of time. Hopefully the poor families can get some closure and investigators can reveal more.
