In a state totally controlled and driven by the Conservatives and the Far Right wing of the Republican Party comes a scream of fear that there is massive voter fraud! Current AG Tom Horne brought to light, in the Fair and Balanced media "Newsmax" that a trial, instigated by this official, shows that illegals have registered to vote in Arizona. He also makes a charge that the "Liberal Media" there has been active in covering up his information of a massive fraud.
He claimed that there is a liberal media cover-up of voter fraud in Arizona. "The media have been constantly in a — it's especially our newspaper and one of the channels that's connected with the newspaper have been running articles saying that voter fraud is a myth, and they've been defending that by counting how many people were actually prosecuted," Horne said.
Some estimates of this "Massive Fraud" stems from the statements of people who "swore" on jury commissioner forms, that they were "not" citizens.
"There were over 200 people who swore on jury commissioner forms that they were not citizens who were found to have registered to vote. Now, only about 10 percent of people get these jury forms. So you really have to multiply it by 10, which means that, on this basis alone, there are at least 2,000 people in Arizona who registered fraudulently and we have statewide elections that have been won by less than 2,000 votes," he said. It seems to me, much like a tempest in a teapot when the same people have such fear of citizens who may or may not vote Republican are some of the same ones that have blocked immigration reform. The failure to prosecute the "massive acts of voter fraud" with an explanation that municipal, county and state courts have better things to do, now gives reason for his authorities to demand citizenship documents by all citizens. Not just illegals - ALL CITIZENS.

Local news outlets collude in misreporting the facts, misleading citizens
The Arizona Republic and Channel 12, housed in the same building and promoting the same liberal agenda, have neglected to give accurate reports on the instances of voter fraud in the state — even ignoring evidence to the contrary.
In the same media this continued Horne's deep concern of "extensive voter fraud"
Attorney General Tom Horne has been relentless in his efforts to expose the fact that such fraud exists. Horne supplied the Republic and Channel 12 News with the most current and reliable information available to prove voter fraud is a serious problem. He pointed out the facts of the extensive trial and investigation in which a Federal District Court Judge concluded that voter fraud is a significant problem in Arizona. At that trial, officials of the Maricopa and Pima County Recorders Offices testified that over 200 non-citizens were caught registering to vote within the year covered by the trial.
First all citizens must have some type of state issued I.D. and now must provide another proof of citizenship to vote.
