Brainwrap continues to fight the good fight by posting the most current ACA signup data available, and as he's been way too busy to post updates here with all the updates and news roaring in during these final days of March, I wanted to get the good news to people:
The Bad News: 2nd outage at HC.gov. The Good News: Exchange QHPs may break 7M by midnight anyway.
Now, that prediction comes with caveats, not least of which is that as noted in the link title, the government website has had some issues today, likely stemming from the high volume of users trying to get enrolled. As such, there has been some downtime for the website today, and of course if the website is down, people aren't enrolling. So
it may all hinge on how well the website holds up under the pressure of high traffic today -- but when all is said and done, even if the enrollments don't break 7 million today, it'll no doubt be close.
