This diary will be used as a forum for the following question: Who should represent The Progressive Ticket in the Maryland Gubernatorial elections?
The Progressive Ticket is a crowdsourced list of political candidates who the Dailykos Community at large support for their respective elections. The candidates will be chosen largely from community-wide debate and consensus. The goal is to have a Progressive option for every election in November, write-in or otherwise.

According to
Ballotpedia, there are 6 registered Democrats for the June 24th Primary. Given that Obama won Maryland in 2012 62%-37% and probably more relevant, Martin O'Malley won for Governor in 2010 56%-42%, this election presents a prime opportunity to elect a true Progressive. Maryland has made
great strides recently that should impress any blue state, but there is still
plenty of work to be done.
