"By the time I get to Boulder, I'll get the munchieees" sang Peter Cottontail to the tune `By the time I get to Phoenix', "I'll pack another bowl by Spokaaa-aane."
Peter decided to stop a minute to get some refreshments so he pulled off the road and checked his basket. "Fuckin' Willie" he thought, "Bastard ate all my peeps. Stardust Memories, my ass. That's a laugh. The last time Willie had a memory his momma was singin' `Willie, don't you grow up to be a cowboy'.'" Peter glowered, "How about rememberin' to pay your taxes?"
He shuddered with the memory of seeing Willie Nelson bite into a chocolate bunny. "Next time I'm going to eat a chocolate country and western singer in front of him...see how he likes it." Peter fussed a bit in search of candies and came up empty. He searched the basket in vain for some sweets. He frowned, dandled his ears and spoke softly, "Fuckin'-A - fuckin' eggs."
Peter didn't eat eggs. Not that he was totally vegan, rather eggs gave him the farts and interfered with his, well....fuckin'. "Ain't gonna get any tail eatin' eggs" Peter decided and he sat  up and wiggled the toes of his lucky rabbit's foot. "At least Willie's good for a smoky treat."
Peter reached into the basket and and pulled out a film container. Inside was a lime green bud, considerably sticky, and aromatic to the Nth degree.. Peter broke it up over a large Zigzag paper, expertly rolled a fatty, sparked it up and took a long draw. "Wow", he thought as the smoke began to expand in his lungs. He held it for as long as he could, then exploded in a coughing fit. His eyes turned from pink to salmon.
"Silly rabbit",  Peter said "Spliffs are for heads." He started an uncontrollable giggling that turned into sustained belly laughter and concluded with another coughing fit. "Sometimes I crack myself up."
He decided to hit the road and picked up his basket and started hopping away. "Man," Peter thought, "That'll put the hippity in your hop." He then realized he'd made an unintentional pun which brought on another bout of laughter punctuated by a coughing fit. He wished that he had an audience to validate his high opinion of his own wit. "All right, where was I?" he thought to himself and resumed his song.
"By the time I get to Denver, I'll be loaded." sang Peter Cottontail as he hopped on down the bunny trail.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
