New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie
says he has not personally been issued a subpoena by federal prosecutors in the bridgegate probe...
Asked during his monthly radio show if he has been subpoenaed by Paul Fishman, the U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, the Republican governor said, “no, absolutely not.”
But Christie added that he is “fully cooperating” with the federal investigation.
...but when it comes to the question of whether he would testify before the state legislative committee investigating the probe, Christie wouldn't say:
“I’m not going to talk about that,” he said during the show on 101.5-FM.
Christie hasn't been called to testify, but given that he says he's got nothing to hide, that shouldn't matter, right? I mean, what harm could possibly come from testifying about something that he had nothing to do with? I guess we could ask him, but as he says, he's "not going to talk about that."
