At least 19 US veterans have died recently because of denial of services at VA clinics and hospitals, just in one region alone.
Some weeks ago, I remarked here on the LONG and well known history of deliberate delays by various VA clinics and hospitals amounting to denials of service to our veterans. Someone here responded to my comment by telling me I was exaggerating my experiences or simply repeating gossip or veterans bitching. Sir, you are a liar. You were then and I assume you still are, and on behalf of my fellow vets, fuck you.
This country's relationship with its military veterans is a series of failed promises and lies wrapped up in fake patriotism and "support our vets" bullshit.
There is NO reason why any person who has been harmed by military service should have to suffer for lack of medical care or social services, and that those tasked with providing it lie and avoid their responsibility is a national disgrace and a shame on our country before the world.
