And the best thing (for them) is that they get paid a lot for their lack of effort: Their annual salary (excluding benefits and perks) is $174,000, which, conveniently, is exactly 12 times as much as someone who makes minimum wage for a full year earns. So keep that in mind the next time you hear a Republican whine about waste in government.
