Polls close at 7:30 PM ET in North Carolina and Ohio. Indiana is also holding its primary, but there's nothing interesting on the statewide or federal level. Our
guide to tonight's key races can be found here. We'll be bringing you the results as they come in. Remember that if no one clears 40 percent in a North Carolina primary, the top-two vote-getters advance to a July 15 runoff.
Results: North Carolina | Ohio
6:43 PM PT: Races still up in the air: NC-02 Democratic primary, where Aiken narrowly leads. NC-03 GOP primary, where Jones appears to have the edge with a lot to go. NC-06 GOP primary, where it looks like we'll have a Berger-Walker runoff. NC-12 Democratic primary, where it looks like Adams will win outright tonight. OH-14, where Rep. Joyce looks like he'll defeat Matt Lynch but not overwhelmingly.
6:45 PM PT: NC-03: Looking at the counties with precincts still out, most favor Jones. Griffin leads in a few counties but except for Pamlico, they're all in or mostly in.
6:47 PM PT: OH-14: About 60 percent reporting, and Joyce leads 56-44. Lynch is narrowing the gap but probably not fast enough.
6:49 PM PT: NC-06: The AP gives Berger 37 percent with 40 percent in. The good news for him is Rockingham County, where he is District Attorney, is mostly out. Still not looking great for him to win the 40 percent he needs.
6:51 PM PT: NC-02: The AP gives Aiken a 41-40 lead over Crisco with 71 percent in. On balance, the remaining territory favors Aiken.
6:53 PM PT: NC-12: The AP gives Adams a 51-19 lead over Graham with 48 percent in. The good news for Graham is most of Mecklenburg is out, and he's doing well there. Adams should get a boost from Guilford though: While less of the county is left, she dominates with 75 percent there.
6:56 PM PT: NC-12: More of Mecklenburg's reporting and it's bringing Adams down. The AP gives her 43 percent districtwide with 58 percent reporting.
6:58 PM PT: OH-14: 64 percent in and Joyce still up 56-44.
7:00 PM PT: NC-03: The AP has 65 percent in and Jones leads 52-45. Remaining areas continue to look good for him.
7:04 PM PT: NC-12: The AP is up to 60 percent reporting, and Adams is at 43 percent, a little above what she needs to win outright. If there's a runoff Graham looks like he'll be her opponent: He leads third-place candidate Battle 24-13. Most of what's left is Mecklenburg, where Graham leads Adams 43-17. However, a bit of Guildford is out where she's at 75 percent.
7:10 PM PT: NC-03: The SBOE has been buggy all night, so take this all with caution. They have more votes counted than the AP and show a dramatically different race: They give Griffin an 81 vote lead. We'll see if the counts converge.
7:12 PM PT: NC-03: The AP has called the primary for Walter Jones. Given how the SBOE has preformed all night, I'm inclined to trust the AP's call.
7:15 PM PT: OH-14: 70 percent in and Joyce is up 55-45. Lynch still making up ground, but probably not enough.
7:15 PM PT (Steve Singiser): OH-HD-54: Worst performance for a legislative incumbent tonight? That honor easily goes to Cincinnati-area Republican Peter Beck, who is currently polling at a quite formidable 8 percent in a three-candidate field. But, it looks like he has a pretty good reason for falling out of favor with his district.
Elsewhere, in Indiana, this asshole still manages to have a job. He narrowly won his GOP primary (52-48) in HD-84, and will face Democrat Fred Haigh in November in a pretty solidly red district.
7:18 PM PT: NC-06: 51 percent reporting via the AP, and Berger still at 37. Most of Rockingham still out, but probably needs more to pass 40 percent and avoid runoff.
7:21 PM PT: OH-14: 74 percent in and Joyce still leads 55-45.
7:23 PM PT: NC-12: 75 percent in and Adams at 43 percent. The good news for her is Graham's Mecklenburg has 16 precincts left while Guilford has 25 out. Adams dominating in Guilford and gives her some room for error.
7:25 PM PT: NC-02: 81 percent in and Aiken leads 41-40. Most of what's left is Cumberland and Wake. In Cumberland the two are about tied, while in Wake Aiken up 59-30.
7:26 PM PT:
BUT, some good news for Aiken in #NC02: Wake Co. reporting additional 344 Aiken votes, 150 Crisco votes on its site:

7:29 PM PT: NC-03: The SBOE concurs with the AP and gives Jones a 6 point edge. Probably isn't going to deter future primary challengers.
7:31 PM PT: OH-14: The AP has called the race for Joyce. All House incumbents win renomination tonight.
7:35 PM PT: NC-02: The AP has 90 percent in, and Aiken leads 41-39. Fourteen precincts left: 6 from Randolph where Crisco up 62-26. Eight from Wake, where Aiken up 59-30. Looks like Aiken has tiny edge.
7:35 PM PT: We're still waiting on NC-02, NC-06, and NC-12.
7:38 PM PT: NC-06: 58 percent in and Berger still at 37.
7:41 PM PT: NC-02: Eight precincts left, and Aiken leads 41-39. Six precincts from very pro-Crisco Randolph, two from Cumberland where Aiken up by one point. Could be very tight.
7:43 PM PT: NC-02: All of Cumberland in and Aiken still leads 41-39. Waiting on Randolph.
7:46 PM PT: NC-06: 70 percent in and Berger still at 37 percent. Rockingham's almost all in and didn't give him the boost he needs. Runoff with Walker looking all-but certain. Berger should start out the favorite.
7:48 PM PT: NC-12: The AP has called the Democratic primary for Adams. Will have no problem winning this safe Democratic seat in November.
7:50 PM PT: NC-02: Looks like this won't be resolved tonight:
RT @AndynewsAndy: Crisco says he'll look at all options Wednesday morning. State BOE shows Aiken with 560 vote lead in race #ncpol

8:00 PM PT: NC-Sen: Sadly we won't have Tim D'Annunzio to kick around anymore. He fell 61-39 in the Libertarian primary, or 1,155 to 750.
8:02 PM PT: NC-02: All but one precinct is in, and Aiken leads 41-39, or 501 votes.
8:14 PM PT: NC-06: The AP has called a Berger-Walker runoff.
8:20 PM PT: We're calling it a night here. NC-02 is still up in the air but it looks unlikely it'll be resolved tonight. Thanks for reading and see you next Tuesday for Nebraska and West Virginia!
