Daily Kos Radio's Kagro in the Morning show podcasts are now available through iTunes.

Friday means it's time to plumb the depths of Pocket and see what's been left aside in days and weeks gone by that might help us fill in the picture a bit more on those things we've managed to get air time for. Maybe a look at the Powell Memo mentioned yesterday? Maybe another shot at that "Entrepreneurs Are the New Labor" article? Maybe this article Justice sent me about Uber drivers protesting in San Francisco?

Maybe just talking about Trey Gowdy's hair.

But in a substantive way.

Listen LIVE at 9:00 ET, here: The Daily Kos Radio Player

Tagging tips - Search For Tags - Browse For Tags

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

You can add a private note to this diary when hotlisting it:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from your hotlist?
Are you sure you want to remove your recommendation? You can only recommend a diary once, so you will not be able to re-recommend it afterwards.
Rescue this diary, and add a note:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary from Rescue?
Choose where to republish this diary. The diary will be added to the queue for that group. Publish it from the queue to make it appear.

You must be a member of a group to use this feature.

Add a quick update to your diary without changing the diary itself:
Are you sure you want to remove this diary?
(The diary will be removed from the site and returned to your drafts for further editing.)
(The diary will be removed.)
Are you sure you want to save these changes to the published diary?

I've had my Harry's Winston set for about a week now and I had my third shave this morning.  It's still pretty good and at least as close as my national brand razor that it replaced.  I think the shave creme is what makes the biggest difference for me.

My only difficulty is that the blades are a little more difficult to rinse and clean.  That may also be related to the oils used in the shaving creme, but because it makes my post shave skin feel so good I'm willing to deal with the extra effort to clean up.  At this rate I think I'll probably get at least one more or two more shaves before i need to change blades.  Since I'm saving at least 75 cents per blade that will mean a significant savings over time.

BTW, I did post a comment on their Facebook page and I mentioned that I ordered as a result of the sponsorship of KITM!

if you want to know why uber is better than just having a taxi company create an app, let me know and I will write a diary

i haven't had a car for the last few years.  i am a frequent uber user and used to be a frequent cab user.  uber has done a lot of things to make their ride sharing experience much much MUCH better than anything I could get from a taxi in Boston or New York (the two cities where I have used it)

i am sorry to hear about the fee dispute, but i'm hoping uber knows they have a good thing going and will not do anything to alienate so many drivers that the service goes under

    •  Sure! (0+ / 0-)

If that's the most convenient way to tell your story, then by all means write it up and send me a note. I'd be happy to read it on the air (or off, if you prefer that). I've never actually used Uber, so I don't have anything to go on in terms of customer experience.

I certainly don't have anything against it. The only time I ever considered using it, I just ended up not using anything at all. But at the time, I thought it sounded like a great idea for someone like me, who for whatever reason would much rather arrange for a ride online than call a cab company and sit around waiting.

Even though I assume I'd have been sitting around waiting just the same, after arranging for a ride online.

          It's a long-term story, and I have a feeling we'll return to it a lot.

If you want to, you could even just tell the story into a voice memo and send me the audio file, and I'll play it on the air.

          •  oh that sounds cool (0+ / 0-)

but i think i'll write it out so you can read it and respond to it as you read it if you want to
