If you live in the Philly area and you want to help Pennsylvania's Liberal Lion, State Senator Daylin Leach (D. PA-13) win his primary on May 20th, there are some new opportunities to do so:
It's me, Daylin's Field Director, Ben. I just left our afternoon field team meeting and I wanted to shoot you a quick email to let you know where things stand.

We are 11 days away from Election Day, May 20th, and our polls show that we have all the momentum going into the final 11 days of the campaign.  On Election Day voters will face a choice between electing Daylin who we know is the one true Democrat in this race, or just another politician who's running for Congress.

Your support over the last year has been amazing and it has helped Daylin be the first up on TV district-wide, lead the fundraising race and launch a groundbreaking grassroots program called Leach’s Legion that has helped us make over 80,000 phone calls and knock on 30,000 doors to date.

All of these milestones are great but it won’t matter unless we have our grassroots army mobilized during the final 4 days of the campaign (Saturday, May 17 - Tuesday, May 20) to help us "Get Out The Vote."

As of today, we have over 100 volunteers signed up for Election Day, but we need more! Will you commit to a volunteer shift to for the last weekend of the campaign?  Click here to commit to a shift.

If you live outside of the Philadelphia area, or can't come in, click here to sign up for a remote phone bank shift.

Finally, if you can't help make calls or knock doors, click here to make a contribution.

Thanks for all that you do,

Ben Young

Field Director Daylin for Congress

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
