Polls close at 8 PM ET throughout most of Texas for tonight's Democratic and Republican primary runoffs. The small portion of the state located in the Mountain timezone around El Paso will be voting until 9 PM ET.
Our guide to tonight's key races can be found here. We'll be bringing you the results as they come in.
Results: Statewide | By County
5:03 PM PT: TX-04: While we wait, check out Greg Giroux's county chart for TX-04 here. As results come in, it will give us a good idea how Rep. Ralph Hall is doing in his fight for reelection.
5:13 PM PT: The first votes are coming in.
5:16 PM PT: TX-04: About 2 percent of precincts are in and challenger John Ratcliffe leads Rep. Ralph Hall 51-49. Unclear where votes are coming from.
5:17 PM PT: TX-LG: First smattering of votes gives state Sen. Dan Patrick a 63-37 lead over Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst.
5:18 PM PT: TX-AG: State Sen. Ken Paxton starts with a 62-38 lead over state Rep. Dan Branch. Paxton is the tea partier, Branch more establishment.
5:21 PM PT: TX-23: About 2 percent reporting and Will Hurd starts with 58-42 lead over former Rep. Canseco.
5:22 PM PT: TX-36: Brian Babin leads Ben Streusand 68-32 in early results, but none of Streusand's Harris County base is in.
5:23 PM PT: TX-Sen: Dentist David Alameel starts with a 73-27 lead over Larouche Kesha Rogers.
5:27 PM PT: Politico seems a bit ahead of the AP right now.
5:30 PM PT: TX-04: About 5 percent in and Hall trails 52-48. Not enough precincts counted in any county to make any real conclusions.
5:35 PM PT: TX-4: Another few precincts in and Ratcliffe continues to lead 52-48.
5:37 PM PT: TX-23: About 9 percent in and Hurd leads 57-43.
5:39 PM PT: TX-36: Babin continues to lead Streusand 56-44 in this safe GOP seat. But check out the county results: Streusand leads in the Harris County early votes 67-33, while Babin is up double digits everywhere else. Given Harris' size, could make the difference.
5:41 PM PT: TX-LG: We have a long way to go, but things look as dire as we expected for the Dew. Patrick leads 63-37 with about 4 percent in.
5:47 PM PT: TX-23: About 10 percent in and Hurd leads 58-42. So far he's running far ahead of his March percentages in each county, while Canseco... isn't.
5:52 PM PT: TX-04: A little more in and things look the same, with Hall down 52-48. Hall has actually improved quite a bit in a lot of areas and it's too early to count him out.
5:58 PM PT: Worth noting that the AP often combines all early votes into one precinct, so a higher percentage of votes have been counted than it indicates. In TX-04 over a quarter of the votes cast in March have been counted even though only 9 percent of precincts in.
6:01 PM PT: The liveblog continues here.
