Received this e-mail today from Democracy For America in support of Wendy Davis' (D. TX) gubernatorial campaign:
There are no words for how disgusting this is: Last week, allies of Greg Abbott -- the Tea Party wacko who is running to become the next governor of Texas -- covered bus stops and phone booths with posters depicting Abbott's Democratic opponent Wendy Davis as "Abortion Barbie."

We're not talking about a relatively tame little sketch here. We're talking life-sized pictures of a mostly naked Barbie doll with Wendy's face plastered on it -- complete with a pair of scissors and a plastic baby stuck in its belly.

I can't remember a political attack as vulgar and sexist as this one. If you're as angry as I am, donate $3 now to help Wendy fight back now.

Greg Abbott hasn't been shy about his disdain for women -- in fact, he's treating it as a focal point of his campaign. He's proud of his efforts to deny women equal pay for equal work, and he's been happy to campaign with open, vocal bigots like Ted Nugent.

We didn't think Abbott and his Tea Party allies could go any lower. Clearly, they've proven us wrong.

We cannot let an attack this offensive slide, and there's no better way to fight back than to support the one candidate in this race who has a real record of fighting for all Texans: Wendy Davis.

So don't just get angry. Pitch in $3 so Wendy Davis can take on the Texas Tea Party and build the campaign she needs to become governor of Texas today.

Thanks for standing up and fighting back with us.

P.S. The DGA is pouncing on this opportunity as well, hitting Abbott on the "Abortion Barbie" attacks.  Sounds like they are getting their heads in the game.  You can click the DGA's link to donate to Davis' campaign as well:

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
