It's actually worse then being a Military Poser, way too many attempt, and way too constant among way too many in a Country based on the Rule of Law and Freedoms under it's Constitution that has developed into 'I want mine and you can't have yours if it isn't my wants!', your interpretations of that Constitution and even religious teaching's of Jesus!!

So quick in changing the meme's, in only hours, from your Total Lack of Support on Veterans Issues, mission accomplished as to that target since telling the Military Truth on Gen Shinseki has been fulfilled, and trying to give cover to your Obstructors!! As quick as your full support to abandon the missions and those sent after 9/11 as the drums beat louder with each lie, you fully supported those lies and policies!! Probably also deflecting from the recent news that the British Iraq War Inquiry final report is soon to finally be released!

You all could care less about the Military, their Families, the Wars and Sacrifices and Us Veterans!! If you did you would have started long ago, instead of flag waving cheering Poser Patriotism, and Demanded Those Served Sacrifice As You Demand Those Serving and Their Families Do! Especially Them Wealthy Who Reaped More From Their Investments In With Help From The Rubber Stamping Conservative Congresses and the policies they quickly jumped on board for!!

You show, once again, how little you understand the Military Community and everything Military, if there's questions on Bergdahl those will be addressed within the Military Community as Dempsey stated: "Army will investigate Bergdahl for desertion" now that he is safe and out of theater and in the Military's hands!! It also shows the use of military personal/veterans as political pawns, Again, on purpose by them as to the politics or through the propaganda machines talking heads seeking out any, including so called intelligence experts, to speak what you and thus your legions want to hear!!

Statement by Secretary of the Army John McHugh on Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl

June 03, 2014 - Secretary of the Army John McHugh released the following statement:

"As an Army, we are grateful that an American soldier is back in American hands. The warrior ethos is more than words, and we should never leave a comrade behind.

"Our first priority is ensuring Sgt. Bergdahl's health and beginning his reintegration process. There is no timeline for this, and we will take as long as medically necessary to aid his recovery.

"As Chairman Dempsey indicated, the Army will then review this in a comprehensive, coordinated effort that will include speaking with Sgt. Bergdahl to better learn from him the circumstances of his disappearance and captivity. All other decisions will be made thereafter, and in accordance with appropriate regulations, policies and practices."

Those who've served with Bergdahl and taking microphone time, those so called Intelligence experts, those who served in these recent long run theaters of operations, should fully understand what Dempsey and McHuge are saying. The oh so many Posers joining the FOX speak, like them, certainly don't. They haven't a clue about the Military and only seek some sort of glory by claiming they do and so called support for those who've actually sacrificed serving them!

The Military, over these long five years, have questions, many probably answered shortly after he went missing. They weren't going to do the rovian political speak of letting on what position they feel Bergdahl took and the why he did. Their main concern was hoping the Taliban wouldn't kill him so they could get him back alive and get answers to their questions directly from that source, still a U.S. Army soldier, reason they also awarded him the rank increases during captivity. He also can give first hand first person valuable intelligence about those five years with the Taliban band or bands he lived with, they also really want that. Those speaking out now, by the way you're the only ones I see using 'Hero' in trying to condemn others as using, should have and should stay very quiet, especially any Military, Veterans of and so called Intelligence experts, until the Army and full Military do what they would always do and you should know that, it's no big top secret with that community!! That's what the Uniform Code of Military Justice - UCMJ is all about, or are you now rewriting that, in your own twisted minds, as well!! Your rubber stamped extremely expensive private merc army didn't fall under that nor any laws!!

06/03/14 - Right wing organizes bashing of American POW - Rachel Maddow reports on the passion and outrage with which the American right is objecting to the return of American soldier Bowe Bergdahl, rejecting the longstanding American principle of leaving no soldier behind.

06/03/14 - Right ignores due process in zeal to condemn American POW - Patrick Murphy, an Iraq War veteran, former congressman, and the host of “Taking the Hill” on msnbc, talks with Rachel Maddow about unexpected passion on the right for leaving an American soldier behind in Afghanistan as a prisoner of the Taliban.

The way I read what has so quickly cropped up is that you're calling on this country to revisit All those cases of personal held captive or missing in action, how about sunday mornings with Sen John McCain, and investigate whether they were traders, especially the Prisoners of War's, All Of Them, for it's your 'patriotic' interpretations and those are your gospel! How about disbanding the DPMO - Defense Prisoner of War/Missing Personal Office in the Pentagon and our Government. After all it's very expensive, and we all know how little you want to Sacrifice yourselves, and so would be adding investigations of those remains found to those previous from All our wars, still being brought home, to find out if they were as 'patriotic' as you demand they be just like you all are!!

They're Still Coming Home:

Soldier Missing From Korean War Accounted For

May 27, 2014 - The Department of Defense POW/Missing Personnel Office (DPMO) announced that the remains of a U.S. serviceman, missing from the Korean War, have been identified and will be returned to his family for burial with full military honors.

Army Pfc. James R. Holmes of Warren, Ohio, will be buried May 29 in Arlington National Cemetery. In November 1950, Holmes was a member of Company K, 3rd Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, which was pushing north through North Korea to the Yalu River. In late November, the unit was attacked by enemy forces and withdrew south to the town of Anju. On Dec. 1, 1950, Holmes was declared missing in action.  read more>>>

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

Those five a 'serious national security threat'?
Try the bushco and conservative ideology, along with rubber stamping but none for the veterans of, who created the enhanced growth and spread long run threat!!!

    Ya gotta be kidding!!

Though the Defense Industrial Complex and the Wall Street Investors in are wishing and a hopin!

They've been out of that loop for years, they're to old, if their a threat then the conservatives should have allowed us Vietnam Vets into the recruiter doors so the youngins didn't have to serve multiple tours,  and any physical abilities and body tone their younger bodies had were lost in confinement, to even last a day or two in so called training camps as fighters, and fighters they wouldn't seek to be! There was no hard evidence so they couldn't even be tried in the kangaroo courts set up at GitMo let alone in Courts within the Country! They are extremely behind in the technologies of today as well as the in-theater grounds in present form to lead any groups in fights against anyone, including seeking a rise to the top!

The only 'threats' they pose are to the present Taliban, or any extremist groups formed, thanks to the bushco policies the conservative fear enhancements mindset and the so called christian intolerant rants, and much more, from within, which were greatly enhanced and spread far and wide to many other area's instead of contained in one or two seeking retaliations for those policies! The younger and more tech advanced are not going to allow them to take over that power, either the ones that came up through the ranks of these groups or those that self proclaimed their leaderships in getting rid of any opposition to them! And you can do a sure bet that preparations are being done within these groups to hinder any attempts, right now, to lock them out!

They will get respect as elders and living martyrs for having survived, while not prosecuted, so long. We do that here, think Sunday Mornings with Sen McCain any TV channel. But threats they aren't. They may be able to use that respect to garner followers but that would only be for the political side of any extremist organization, even here where the more extreme you are the easier to play the grifting game and not only gain power but wealth without doing much at all!

And Dems are still thinking they are as well, when showing they actually have now shown they have been, real national defense, in most of the issues during the past decade plus!!

The GOP/libertarian/t bag party is all lies, rumors, threats, posturing and manipulation, not at all about facts or about doing anything positive for our country and its people.

Remember John Boehner's talking about "Jobs, jobs, jobs" back in 2008? Ever see any jobs from them? They voted against EVERY bill that might produce any jobs, training, education or anything remotely similar...and have since 2009.

The GOP is anti American trash. Those in congress should be tried for treason.

immediate COC? IF doubts were raised as to any possible change in beliefs by this young man, Regardless of what they may be, Isn't it Negligence in Duties and Responsibilities of those Sr to this Soldier by failing to act upon questionable issues? Did they not have a Duty to prevent and protect this Soldier regardless? IF they were aware, But chose to ignore and not act upon issues, Isn't that dereliction of Duties and Responsibilities? If they suspected problems that were a detriment to the Plt, then why didn't they remove this Soldier from Duty based on those issues, And after investigating these issues, If found to be true, Simply send Him home and discharge Him?

Along with others are questions the Defense Department want, may already have, answers to.

But any notion spoken since he was captured would have probably gotten him killed right then and there, today's world there is no need for capture reason there weren't but a couple and the others in Iraq were killed, remains turned over long after!!

So with his return alive those who served with him really really aren't thinking about what, if any, might be coming their way, Now!!

They would know the why that Defense stayed quiet and what the trade off might be as to his five years of information about these Taliban clans they can glean off of him, could be extremely valuable!!

Just what is it they would have preferred?

Leave the guy in captivity permanently? Just pull out of Afghanistan and leave him as a dusty footnote to history?

Well, some have been pushed a bit and will say "no, no...it's good we got him back, but we paid too high a price giving up five of their top guys". So, should we have said "thanks, but no thanks?"; and revert to "leave the guy there permanently?

Well, maybe it wasn't too, too high. Higher than we'd like, but the main thing is that Obama didn't ask us first. OK, he should have asked, and in the subsequent uproar and heated debate the other side withdraws the offer, and Bergdahl gets to stay in Afghanistan permanently, unless he's lucky enough (and still alive) to  find his way home afterwards.

Over, and over, it boils down to "bring him home" of "leave him there" - and I'd just like to hear some of these pundits and pontificators spit it out clearly - which would have been their preferred outcome?

Especially them so called 'fox intelligence experts', why would anyone go onto public tubes and sound so absolutely unintelligent when one can tear apart everything they say!! Though only a few do and those are only seen by a few!!

This kid has a possibility that intel experts salivate over and whether willing or not will give up the little to the large about these Taliban tribes.

Though will say, if I was in his boat right now I'd tell them all to shove it!! With what's being thrown around I'd say just charge me with desertion, forget the previous five, and send me to jail. Let the ones spouting the crap that has been greatly helping in the recruiting and spread of continue!!!
