As we all know, Operation American Spring's attempt to overthrow President Obama fizzled after its hopes for a 10-million strong march on the capital fell short by, um, at least nine million people.  Well, it looks like Judson Phillips is trying to pick up where Jim Garrow and friends left off.  This morning, Tea Party Nation fired off an email linking to a petition by right-wing radio host Craig Andersen calling for Obama to be arrested and impeached for his role in the release of Bowe Bergdahl.

I hereby call on all members of the house and the senate to begin impeachment proceeding against Barack Hussein Obama and for Andrew B. “Drew” Willison, the current Senate Seargent at Arms to issue and execute an arrest warrant, taking the president, Barack Hussein Obama into custody.

Barack Hussein Obama is in direct violation of 18 U.S. Code § 2339A – Providing material support to terrorists as a result of the removal of five Taliban GITMO detained terrorists and the transfer OF them to the government of Qatar where they, according to the specified arrangement negotiated BY Obama that they only be keep from traveling for a period of one year.

The full petition, viewable here, also calls for Obama to be sentenced to a minimum 15 years in prison, and possibly as long as life in prison.  Never mind that the five detainees will be under very close supervision by Qatar, and face restrictions other than not being able to travel.

While some Repub congressmen have already made noises about impeachment, we all know it's going nowhere fast.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
