As Saturn devoured his children (as Goya saw it, below)
So Eric Cantor has been sent to the showers!!

More Tagging tips:
A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?
Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.
If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office.
CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.
Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.
Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary:
Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House.
If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state
Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries
that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
You must be a member of a group to use this feature.

But as we all know, the Republicans are solid, in lockstep with one another, and presenting a united front.
I wonder if Eric Cantor is in favor of extending unemployment benefits now?

Tonight they got burned. They used so many dog whistles in 2010 to turn the racists out to vote they're stuck with them now. They have two choices blow up the party now and past immigration reform this term, or become the Whigs.

…but we're now dealing with another Tea Party moron. If a democrat can't win in that district, then we're trading one idiot for another.

When you are too right wing for the Mormon Church, that's pretty bad.
The LDS church told its members to go to the caucuses in Utah. The LDS church does not want anti-immigrant wingnuts like Mike Lee. They want nice Corporate Republicans like Orrin Hatch and Bob Bennett.

That now Republicans are going to almost refuse to negotiate on absolutely anything.
Republicans have absolutely been taken over by Tea Party, or they have too much fear in them to buck them. This means more Republicans are going to be afraid of alienating there own.
That's good for us if it means picking up unusual seats across the country this cycle (as long as we get motivated)
Bad if it means that some of these crazy people actually get elected and serve

I am afraid that Dems are too complacent to vote in the midterms... i don't know what will motivate them..maybe a completely teabagged congress God forbid???? This country might have to go through even more hell with these nitwits... geez.... i hope not.. people seem to be getting crazier and crazier...!!!! I just don't understand why people don't vote!!!

Get out there. The one good thing about this is that if Dems work hard you can take advantage of this madness.
But it will take a lot of people working together

for one smirking, smug pretender. Otherwise, no big deal in a knuckledragging district. Nothing changes... right-wing decomp continues unabated.

Oh.....we loved last night! We watched it over & over. It never got old.
