Oh, so many memories of good times with our Dad.
It was always important for him to have the nicest yard on the block.
And on summer days he would help us make up new games to play.
rainy days were always fun too.
Sometimes on Saturday he wanted to sleep late, but we were sure the day would get more interesting when he finally got up.
Mom would often shake her head knowingly when Dad decided to do some home improvements.
One of his favorite things was to try and make us laugh.
But we looked forward to every evening when he would sit in the lounge chair and read to us interesting tidbits from the news.
He was always full of advice.
And when we got old enough, he taught us how to drive.
But things started to get really interesting when we showed an interest in boys.
But as time passed and we left home, Dad had some time to reflect.
He decided that retirement meant he should try new hobbies...
After we had a few grandkids for him, we think his new hobby will be a success.
