Those of you who already either know me or know of me know that I am a massive pootie person. I grew up with both cats & dogs and I love both. I do not discriminate against any animal & love animal photos of all kinds. Please enjoy the following and add any photos that you think the community would like to see. Now, enjoy the photos & have some fun.

Of course, the usual rules apply:
1. Be nice to each other
2. No trolling the diary
3. If you hate pootie diaries, leave now.
4. Share any and all pootie/woozle photos or issues that you would like to. When it comes to problems, we may just have someone with experience who can help.
5. Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. DO NOT SHIT-STIR IN HERE! Shit stirring will be dealt with the same way we deal with trolls. I WILL ALWAYS BACK MY PEEPS BEFORE ANYONE ELSE!
6. Also, there is no such thing as stealing a photo around here, all are offered with love and may be borrowed with just as much love.

I would like to thank the ICHC website for the majority of these photos.

Seattle Animal Shelter offering $5 adoptions

For a limited time, reduced adoption fees for adult cats and critters

SEATTLE - For a limited time, the Seattle Animal Shelter is offering adult cat and critter adoptions for only $5, plus applicable license fees. This special promotion is available from June 21-29.

The shelter is overflowing with 200 cats and critters waiting to find homes, and Shelter staff is hoping this promotion will encourage potential pet owners to adopt. Available critters include rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, birds, turtles, snakes and more. Both in-shelter and foster animals quality for the special pricing.

"At the shelter and in our foster care programs we have incredible animals in need of a forever home," said Don Jordan, Seattle Animal Shelter director. "We hope this special price encourages folks to consider adopting shelter pets. If you have room in your home and your heart, this is a great opportunity to save a life."

With regular adoption prices ranging from $15 to $145 (plus applicable license fees), this promotion offers up to $140 in savings. The adoption fee includes:

Certificate for free health exam at local veterinarians

    Initial vaccinations (cats only)

Spay or neuter (cats and rabbits)

    Microchip (cats and rabbits)

    Deworming (cats only)

Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency virus testing (cats only)

Two cans of food (cats only)

A two-year license fee for an adult cat is $27. Critter adoptions do not require licensing.

This promotion is made possible with funding from the Seattle Animal Shelter Foundation.

The Seattle Animal Shelter is open Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. for adoptions and licensing. It is located at 2061 15th Ave. W. The phone number is 206-386-7387 (PETS). Animals available for adoption can be viewed online at

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
