As a retired public health academic, I have been considering writing a book on guns, violence, and America. However, I just ran across a new book that is very comprehensible and very thorough in its treatment of gun issues. It is chock full of good information imparted in a conversational format. Great to have around. Very up-to-date. Almost anything one (including this one) would write about gun policy and the debate would really be redundant. Yes, it is a bit dry, but the gun debate already has more than enough argument by emotion in it.
