Since the Supreme Court ruled that it was okay for employers like Hobby Lobby to discriminate against their female employees i.e. birth control coverage based on religion where will the discrimination of women end? The Supreme Court has ruled it is open season on women's rights in the workforce by setting a dangerous precedent.
Will one of these companies decided they no longer want to provide health insurance when a woman is faced with an ectopic pregnancy because they view this procedure as an abortion?
What if an owner of a company decides he/she doesn't want to provide health insurance for reconstructive surgery after a mastectomy because they hold a belief that a woman's breasts are only for the purpose of feeding a child and reconstruction surgery would be a sin in vanity?
How about the woman who becomes pregnant with the help of in vitro fertilization? Can her employer fight to deny her health insurance for her pregnancy because they view in vitro fertilization as a sin?
Will employers now try to deny health insurance for women who become pregnant outside of marriage?
Is covering the cost of treatment for cervical cancer from HPV now on the chopping block because someone had sex outside of marriage at some point in their lives?
This Supreme Court has opened up a flood gate of possibilities of discrimination against women all under the allusion of religious freedom.
