More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

Discouraging news this morning, but feeling energized now and more determined in the fight for electing Democrats and supporting rights for women.

Have been up since 4:00 and was out the door by 4:30 for our walk.
Supposed to hit 111 by Wednesday and stay through the weekend, but really, at least to me, once it hits 108, it's hot so what's a few more degrees?
    Praying for rain.

Dinner will be leftovers from Sunday's dinner - rice and beans with fried slices of turkey sausage.
Before going to bed tonight, I am placing a roast in the crock-pot with red potatoes and carrots.
Love waking up to the smell of crock-pot roasts or anything for that matter.
So, dinner tomorrow will be easy!

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!

It's 'only' 94 here, but I'm really feeling the tropical system building off the coast. My breathing has been sketchy and everyone seems to be high on the aches and pains list. Stupid barometric pressure fluctuations and high humidity. As the storm system is just off the coast, we're keeping a 'weather' eye on it. But it's probably not turning into much of anything. Still, it's late June/early July, you never know.

Dinner tonight was pork steaks with Alfredo noodles and mixed veggies. We got the pork steaks 3/$6 (about 3 lbs too) so we'll get 3 meals out of those. We cooked them all, and they'll go into the freezer to be taken out and used in the next week or two.

Last night we made a pot roast with carrots, potatoes, green beans from our garden and snap peas from our garden. It was very very good! Left over veggies doubled for lunch today, I made a skillet out of them... fried them up, poured eggs over top, mixed with cheese and cooked. YUM!

Camp NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow, and all of the adults will start writing. I have my pre-writing done and the characters have been 'chattering' in my head wanting to be on paper, so all is good that way. My goal is 30,000 words, which should leave me room in case I have a couple of bad days in which I can't write as much.

Had to take my brother to the doctor this morning. That meant wrestling the wheelchair in and out of the car. Tomorrow I see my doctor in regards to the ankle. It is a little better but not healed by a long shot.

The weather is hot and humid and miserable. Not the proper weather for having to wear an air cast.

Spent time today working on updating my art and photography selling website and my own website. I hope to have it completed tomorrow. I have 23 new photographs to put up and 9 new pieces of art.

Dinner was leftovers. Will go to the store tomorrow and will probably do Swedish Meatballs for dinner.

Pixie is reminding me that we are short on pretzels and I need to get more.

    Using m dailykos

On the Blackberry right now. Works well for reading dairies. This is my first comment with it.
