"It's everyone's fault but MINE!"
So House Speaker John Boehner actually said this with a straight face:
Boehner: It is sad & disappointing that..President Obama won't work with us, but is instead intent on going it alone with executive orders

This is the same guy, who a year ago, said
this:
“I’ve made it clear and I’ll make it clear again, the House does not intend to take up the Senate bill,” Boehner said Monday. “The House is going to do its own job in developing an immigration bill.”
He added, “It is time for Congress to act. But I believe the House has its job to do, and we will do our job.”
1) House will develop immigration bill.
2) Congress will act.
3) House has a job to do, and they will do it.
In other words, it's the House's job to develop a bill, and they will.
And then they didn't. So how is it that "Obama" is the excuse, when House Republicans couldn't even get their own shit together and put something forth to negotiate with the administration? It's not "Obama's" fault that they didn't even show up to the bargaining table.
It's clear that the Republican House is a broken House, unable to carry out even its most basic functions. Can't blame that on the president. That's fully the fault of the people running the joint.
