OK, so SCOTUS has made another assault on American values (yes, most Americans are in favor of birth control).
One more time--let's cover the basics (after the squiggly orange sphincter)...
I have a simple statement of the policy position of the Universal Inter-Galactic Federation of Homogenius(tm) (which exists entirely within the confines of my own corpus--hey, I'm a big guy).
Once more for the record:
I am a gay-identified man who will never need or cause the need for an abortion. But I am militantly pro-choice and pro-contraception (which is the ULTIMATE anti-abortion position).
If you are anti-contraception,
THEN YOU ARE PRO-ABORTION!!!
Across all peer-reviewed medical and scientific studies, there is only one factor that reduces the need for abortion (which is the only factual way to reduce the abortion rate) ANYWHERE, IN EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE, and that's the widespread availability of, and instruction in the proper use of, contraception. Period. This is true across national boundaries, geography, religion, socio-economic status, and every other factor you can name.
Abstinence education doesn't reduce it. Statutory and constitutional bans don't. Promotion of adoption doesn't (although adoption is worth promoting in it's own right and I come from a very pro-adoption family).
Let's repeat this: Contraception is the ONLY way to reduce the need for abortion.
This is not difficult. (Except when you are dealing with the willfully ignorant).
I swear on a bad day I think it won't be a bad thing that the cockroaches will win in the end.
P.S. A special shout-out to the dickhead (Jesse Waters) on FAUX News today (surrounded by four compliant women) who said "single ladies" who voted for Obama "depend on government because they're not depending on their husbands". You just can't make this shit up.
