First opened in 1965, the Museum of Fine Arts has, along with the nearby Dali Museum and the Chihuly Glass Collection, established St Petersburg, Florida, as a center for the arts. The permanent collection contains works by Cezanne, Renoir, Rodin, Gauguin, Monet and others. The rotating collection displays artwork from all historical periods and geographical locations.
