I just saw this over at Liberaland and saw nothing on it here. Sorry,  the link does not seem to work. It seems that Cliven Lance Bundy has failed to show up for a court appearance in Las Vegas and a contempt of court warrant has been issued for him.  Seems that the junior Bundy pleaded guilty in 2013 to charges of felony burglary and, get this, weapons theft! Seems the young patriot attributes his actions to a pain killer addiction.  Boy, that is a good combination-guns and painkillers.  He was given 5 years probation and drug counseling.
The problem is that he has missed counseling sessions (because standing up to the evil government screws up your schedule) and had a court date on July 8 which he missed.  He claims that he had out-patient surgery that day. See, scheduling conflict.  He claims he scheduled out-patient surgery on the day he had to be in court to explain why said court should not lock his ass up.  Seems he has missed several hearings and the court has been unable to reach him.
Papa Cliven and Mama Carol say that they thought Baby Cliven had "medical releases" from the drug treatment program.  If you believe that then I have swamp land for sale. The bundys seem to be saying this is all a big misunderstanding. Ya right.
Let me see if I got this straight.  You plead guilty to felony burglary and weapons theft (so thats where all those good guys with guns get them).  Instead of the 2 to 8 years you could get you get 5 years probation and drug treatment. You then screw up by not going to treatment and missing hearings about not going to treatment.  Your only excuse is scheduling conflicts? Really?  My guess is that he does not want a judge to review what he has reall up to.  Let's see not showing to treatment is the least of his worries.  I do not know the extent of his probation agreement, but I suspect that Baby Cliven has violated multiple terms and if he shows up he will not see the ranch again for a few years.  He has participated in threatening federal agents, associated with known felons, Jared Miller and probably a few other of the Militia?terrorist types at the ranch, probably is in possession of firearms... Well you get the idea.  It will be interesting to see how Papa Cliven reacts to this.  Does he stop recognizing the authority of state of Nevada as well as the U.S. Government?  What am I saying, he recognizes no authority but his own.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
