Splintered Judgement
I just wanted to invite anyone in north Florida, south Georgia or south Alabama to a play. It's called Splintered Judgement. The logline: A defendant is found guilty of a relatively minor crime, but due to mandatory minimum sentencing guidelines he finds himself sentenced to life in prison. A momentary lapse on the part of a guard allows Joe to confront the jury that convicted him.
The webpage for the play is: Splintered Judgement
The play will be performed July 18, 19 and 20th at Goodwood Museum and Gardens in Tallahassee.
Any Kossack that would like to attend private message me, and I can get you a discount on the tickets.
We hope to video tape it and have it on Youtube after the show runs. Anyone interested in the play let me know. It was originally written as a screenplay so we've had to adapt it a bit for the stage. We are hoping to generate enough interest to produce it as a film.
8:54 AM PT: Forgot to mention: the play contains adult language and violence therefor it is not appropriate for children.
Also, there will be a forum discussing mandatory minimum sentences after the matinee performance on Sunday.
