Jason Ritchie is running a very strong campaign to unseat five-term incumbent GOPer Dave Reichert in this R+1 district. Pres Obama won WA-08 in 2008 and 2012 (redistricted) and I agree with Jason that it is time to take WA-08 back for the BLUE team!
Dave Reichert (R) votes with the Tea Party; he's a paperweight for the GOP running for his sixth term and the GOP is backing him. He's outraised Jason 7 to 1 in funding. Jason and the Ritchie team mean business and are running a formidable grassroots campaign. They are working hard and with heart. It's time to take Reichert down! Let's walk our talk about supporting progressives. Join with Jason and take action to turn this district BLUE in 2014.
Jason is a progressive Democrat on all the issues and he is making all the right moves to win in November: His team is highlighted in an AdAge article about training in the latest data and technology platforms the Democratic party organization says will be key to 2014 midterm success. He has amassed an impressive list of endorsements. He is getting his message out by GOTV phone and door-to-door contact. Saturday is one of several meet-ups. He writes about progressive issues for Huffington Post. Bill Maher chose 16 of the worst of 233 Republicans in the House for his Flip A District contest. Through efforts of Jason, his team and supporters, GOPer Dave Reichert (WA-08) made the list. That's a BFD!
I live in Indiana and wish I had candidate like this to vote for. I don't, but I can support him in other ways. With all of us working together, we can have the privilege of Jason Ritchie supporting WA-08 and all of us in the House!
