Standard disclaimer: Leave your loathing of meta, World of Warcraft, or community diaries outside. If you think we should be playing your MMO instead, start a guild and write a recruitment diary. Don't leave a comment here and then get all hurtful when it isn't received with flowers and candy. This goes double for people coming in to attack guildies over other diaries or comments - STAY OUT! Link to your recruitment diary is OK though. |
Standard advertisement: Wreck List is the Daily Kos World of Warcraft guild. We are Horde-side on the Garrosh server. We're getting close to the membership cap, so we'll have to put you on a waiting list if you want to join. To get on the list, read this diary and visit the Guild web site. Yes, you have to be Horde. No, you don't have to be hardcore - casuals, PvPers, and people that just want to hang out on guild chat are all welcome. |
More below the fold:
Don't have much for you this week. We've had some heavy maintenance - and there are reports of raid lockouts getting wiped so check!
They did release the new models for the female tauren today - take a look here at the official blog.
On to the raid reports. First, here's the Team Z report from Tvath:
This week we were feeling good. We were feeling ready. We'd geared up, honed our performance, a full team was on board. So we went forth in search of Garrosh. Who killed us a bunch of times.
That being said, it was possible to see that we could do this. We did manage to learn enough of the moves to get through the first phase, and it felt good to take on the challenge. This is going to be fun.
Saturday night I'll be leading the Massacre on a series of Mount Runs -- Onyxia, Malygos, Anzu, etc.

Next we have Ninotchka's Team Kaels report:
So, it’s continued to be a quiet week in Lake Wobegon, uh, Team Kaels. Tuesday was a long, long, long, long maintenance day. Did I say it was a long maintenance? We discussed cancelling flex-o-rama, but in the end there were enough enthusiastic people online that I decided to give wing 4 a try. A lot of people were having serious issues signing in. I was able to get in, but I got hard disconnected about an hour into the run (right after Garrosh trash) and spent the next hour fighting the loading screen boss.
In the end I battled past it and managed to make it online in time for Team Kaels. We were missing Carune this week, and Hyunkel is in a play which keeps him busy until an hour into raid time. Brumal kindly brought along his warlock for the first boss. We discussed progression a little bit during the raid, and concluded that we have reached the point where we need to start skipping the first few bosses to get serious time on later bosses, especially since we’ve formally dropped back to two nights a week.

Here's the Team RP report from Pamena
Team RP report:
Things are pretty quiet for us as well, although we've been having a pretty good time farming and alt running - however, tonight, it looks like we'll get the band back together, with both Thanael and Rubi able to join us, so we will take another crack at heroic Immerseus and heroic Norushen.

Finally, here's Pamena's Guild LFR report:
Guild LFRs
I've been putting guild LFR runs on the calendar for these 2 weeks of the Black Prince buff to the drop rate for sigils, secrets and runestones, for those on the cloak quest and needing those items, and it's been really fun. We ran a wing or two of TOT last Friday, and last night, Wed, we did the first wing of Siege (and some went on to do the second wing). Maintenance kind of put a crimp in my cloak questing, but I did get the Thunder Forge scenario done on Parsifale, after collecting the last few secrets Tuesday night after flex. She won't finish this week, but I hope will get close. If people want to do another guild LFR Friday night, I would probably be up for it, as Papa is still collecting secrets. LFR is so much more bearable when you are in Mumble with other guildies!

That's all I have this week -
for the Horde!
