Noisy, short-fingered vulgarian Donald Trump has always inspired one burning question in people, viz: seriously, what the fuck is that thing on his head? Is it friendly? Is it dangerous? You don't know whether to pet it or beat it to death with a stick.
The second question the noxious Trump inspires is: Holy mackerel...is he really that big of an asshole?
Sadly, the first question remains unanswered; best guess? It's one of those parasitic fungi that take over the host's brain and make it do things like gold-plate toilet seats.
The second question, however, has been definitively answered: yes, he really is that big of an asshole.
The outbreak of Ebola virus in West Africa is alarming. Amongst the unbelievably courageous people--doctors, nurses and carers--who are fighting to contain the virus and treat its victims are two Americans, Dr Kent Brantly and US aid worker Nancy Writebol. Sadly and as happens so often with those who work with Ebola patients, Dr. Grantly and Ms. Writebol contracted the virus.
When the news broke that these two incredibly brave Americans would be flown home for treatment, the reaction of Donald Trump was swift. He took to Twitter to voice his outrage. Seriously. I am not making this up.
According to TPM:
Here's a small taste of Trump's outrage, which also included retweets from others who praised his stance on the matter:
Ebola patient will be brought to the U.S. in a few days - now I know for sure that our leaders are incompetent. KEEP THEM OUT OF HERE!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2014
Stop the EBOLA patients from entering the U.S. Treat them, at the highest level, over there. THE UNITED STATES HAS ENOUGH PROBLEMS!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 1, 2014
The U.S. cannot allow EBOLA infected people back. People that go to far away places to help out are great-but must suffer the consequences!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 2, 2014
"@BigBoie7531: To all the liberal do gooders, this is the Plague you idiots! No cure! @ You may have confidence in the CDC, but I don't!"
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 2, 2014
The U.S. must immediately stop all flights from EBOLA infected countries or the plague will start and spread inside our "borders." Act fast!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 2, 2014
Un-
fucking-believable. Instead of praising these brave people or offering to help, the anal-wart-in-a-toupee that is Trump voiced his outrage that they were being brought home for treatment. What a prince.
The time has come for the rest of America to join me in my longtime boycott of all things Trump, aside from mocking the asshole (I've been ahead of the curve on this).
Enough already with enabling this disgusting man.
Tough On Trump, Tough On The Causes Of Trump.
