Like some of you, I've been increasingly frustrated by the numerous emails from the DNC and from barackobama.com. I am a supporter of Democrats, and I try to stay involved and informed. I have already unsubscribed from the DNC's list after yet another plea for money that I can't afford right now. But after numerous emails about our President's birthday, I received this:

Laura --
I don't want to make this awkward, but...
It looks like you haven't signed OFA's birthday card for President Obama yet.
Today's the big day -- I think the card would be so much better with your name on it, Laura.
Before we seal the giant envelope, sign your name to OFA's birthday card for the President:

That's it! I don't need a freaking guilt trip for a freaking birthday card! How could it possibly matter to the President if I sign his birthday card? I have enough to do to remember my own mother's birthday. My time is too valuable, and I think that these organizations that we are supporting should respect it more, and should be more substantive in their communications. UNSUBSCRIBED.
