I find it fascinating when lovers of capitalism as the savior of mankind complain about their boss. They honestly believe that their boss is just a mean, incompetent, or somehow a bad person. What they choose not to see is that this is no accident: Their bosses act the way they do because they are enabled by a system that gives them virtually unlimited power over their subordinates.
Understanding how that culture of elevating bosses to near dictator-level status over their employees is well within the reach of the average adult. There are more than enough resources available right here at Daily Kos alone that explain this in clear terms. So let's dismiss any fiscal conservatives' retorts that "they honestly don't know about this," because anyone who says that and really means it is in a state of denial. This also goes for anyone who dismisses this claim simply because it's librul soshalism.
This leads us to a straighforward conclusion: Fiscal conservatives have no right to complain about their boss. None. The same can be said about fiscal conservatives whose wages or working hours are cut or eliminated. People who idolize unregulated capitalism as the best possible system should rejoice when it works as designed. Or at the very least, they should be good little boys and girls and accept it wholeheartedly. Failure to do so is hypocrisy, pure and simple.
There's an addendum here that is worth noting: Many fiscal conservatives indeed choose not to complain about their bosses, even when the latter are the ones at fault, but instead internalize said anti-employee decisions. These conservatives internalize their stress at being forced to work too many or too few hours, or in dangerous conditions, etc., believing that they just need to "deal with it," even though their minds and bodies simply cannot maintain that level of work stress for very long. When their bosses treat them like crap, they decide to not stand up for themselves not just in the interest of preserving their jobs, but because the boss knows best and the boss is always right.
Again, the solutions to this false dichotomy have been covered to an enormous extent right here on DailyKos. I do not want to suggest in any way that said solutions would be easy to implement--far from it--but the fact is that solving a problem requires at least acknowledging the existence of the problem.
