Results & Poll Closing Times (all times Eastern):
7:52 PM PT: WI-06: 47 percent in and Grothman leads both foes 40-28. So far the first few Sheboygan precincts favor him over homeboy Leibham 66-25. Grothman has been winning or breaking even in most counties, and if he's even close in large Sheboygan County this is over.
7:54 PM PT: MN-Gov: 48 percent is in but not much has changed all night. Johnson leads Zellers 32-24, with Honour at 22.
8:00 PM PT: WI-06: 60 percent here and Grothman's lead over Leibham is down to 39-29, with Stroebel at 28. This is the closest it's been, but Leibham needs Sheboygan to come in big for him to have a real shot. So far most of his home county is out.
8:03 PM PT: MN-Gov: 56 percent in and Johnson continues to lead Zellers 32-24.
8:07 PM PT: WI-AG: 50 percent is in and Happ continues to lead Richards 55-30 in the Democratic primary. Happ was outspent but had the backing of EMILY's List and AFSCME. The GOP is fielding Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel, and this is expected to be a competitive race in the fall.
8:08 PM PT: MN-01: 73 percent in and NRCC favorite Miller now trails underfunded foe Hagedorn 53-47.
8:10 PM PT: MN-Gov: 60 percent is in and Johnson's lead over Zellers has slipped slightly to 31-24. However, Marty Seifert has been picking up support and is now just behind Honour 21-20.
8:14 PM PT: WI-AG: The AP has called this for Susan Happ, who is winning 54-30, a far bigger margin than we expected.
8:19 PM PT: MN-01: The AP has called this for Hagedorn. He's raised a grand total of $86,000, about 20 percent which was from his wallet. Democratic Rep. Tim Walz was usually viewed as a third-tier GOP target at best, and we'll see if Team Red even bothers to play now.
8:20 PM PT: WI-06: 64 percent in and Grothman leads Leibham 40-29. A few extra Sheboygan precincts are in, and Grothman is leading 52-40 there. If Leibham can't open a big lead in the county, game over.
