When rightwing bagger morons wake up and finally decide they are willing to trade

their hatred of minorities and Gay folks (some of you have learned not to hate Gays, just some) for survival, we will all start to see a change.

Some of you are smart enough (not many, but some) to know that you vote against your literal survival every time you vote but you hate the minority groups (African Americans, Japanese Americans, Chinese Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans, Muslim Americans, Jewish Americans) just to name a few, so much that you are willing to trade survival long term for short term hate.

The rest of the baggers are just too dumb and the smarter ones will need to lead them.

The repubs and most libertarians who care only about money and nothing else (not the environment, not religious freedom, not freedom of speech, not even their own family most of the time) some of them are racists, some are not, many are just so greedy (these idiots are the ones who cheer when they watch Wall Street and Gekko says "greed is good") that they will do anything for more, no matter they couldnt possibly ever spend it all, they just want more.

The liberals and most humans as the vast majority of the human population identifies with liberals (look it up in the dictionary someday and learn something) will have to be patient but we are running out of time.

The current war on America from the teaparty where they have created the greatest obstruction of government in American history, are wearing thin on the human population who sees them as enemies of all life.

Climate change will kill most of us eventually if we dont get our act together which means we have to first stop it here and then figure out a way to convince China to do as well, that will be a tough one, but we cant focus on them while arguing with the morons here.

We might all survive, we might not...time will tell

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.

This nation was founded 200+ years ago on the notion that blacks were worth 3/5ths of a person and that some people were more worthy than others.  The racists and bigots have always existed.  They existed 150+ years ago when we fought a freaking war over whether blacks should be free or not, 100+ years ago when they were lynching blacks and burning crosses in front of their houses, 50+ years ago when blacks couldn't use the same water fountains or bathrooms and 50+ hours ago on the streets of Ferguson.

It's never gonna change until the rest of us feel enough outrage and shame to tell these racists and bigots to go fuck themselves and are willing to fight them tooth and nail for equal rights and equal respect for all.

at least to the GOP.  They've all but written them off, and if Ferguson is any indication with their 8% voting turnout, the GOP has succeeded in part in making them almost completely irrelevant.

I long for the day when blacks are not only relevant but deciders.  I'd imagine Ferguson isn't the only place in MO where black turnout is that pathetic.  I suspect that if black turnout was equal or better than whites that the Show Me State would be showing us a more diverse political leadership.

    worrying about persuading them.

The high turnout senior generation are dominated by the last pre Boomers, people who matured before the sexual revolutionary liberation of female birth control and the political and economic liberation of civil rights. They've never accepted the changes of the late 60's and have been voting from today all the way back to the days of Dr. King to roll back that progress.

I"m with those who support focusing our outreach on the moderate, less active lower turnout voters who can be persuaded either way, to try to show them the threats of the rightwing and the benefits of supporting progressive ideas and candidates.

I have less certainty about the younger bagger types, but if instead we would focus on offering low-activity working class and poor and minority voters some positive choices of policies and candidates to choose, we would already at this moment have the Republicans confined to a regional permanent political minority.

I worry that some quasi liberal younguns will take to Rand Paul, who is a very very dangerous man.

I wish we had a viable 3rd party or actual liberals capable of winning in the Democratic Party.

If HIllary is the candidate I will support her, work for her, etc.  But I would love to see someone else.

...that we have the votes if everyone will just show up to vote on election day. And we do have a growing minority population. That could very well save this country. (it's what I'm banking on)
