I have been a Hercules fan for ages, and when the show officially went off the air, I remained a fan of Kevin Sorbo. Even through all the God-awful D Grade movies he made, I was loyal, because … hey, he was Hercules, ya know?

But that was then, and this is now.

NOW, I can't stand the sight of him. This after reading a rant he did on Facebook about Ferguson.

After this, Mr. Sorbo, you, your Hercules character, and all the other parts you've played are dead to me.

Read his rant below the squiggle.

As reported by The Huffington Post:

'Hercules' Actor Kevin Sorbo Calls Ferguson Protestors 'Animals,' 'Losers'

Former "Hercules" star, political conservative and outspoken Christian Kevin Sorbo unleashed a Facebook rant about the protestors in Ferguson, Missouri, labeling them "animals" and "losers."

Sorbo took to Facebook Wednesday, Aug. 20, to discuss the Ferguson protestors who have been calling for justice since the shooting death of unarmed teenager Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson on Aug. 9. The actor criticized those who have been gathering in the St. Louis suburb for having what he said are ulterior motives.

"Ferguson riots have very little to do with the shooting of the young man," Sorbo wrote. "It is an excuse to be the losers these animals truly are. It is a tipping point to frustration built up over years of not trying, but blaming everyone else, The Man, for their failures. It's always someone else's fault when you give up. Hopefully this is a reminder to the African Americans ( I always thought we just Americans. Oh, well.) that their President the voted in has only made things worse for them, not better."

Gee, Kev, why don't you tell us how you really feel?

* [new]  Yeah (1+ / 0-)

here it is. Another winger non-apology-apology....

“I stand humiliated and humbled. My most sincere apologies for my post on the events in Ferguson,” he said. “I posted out of frustration and anger over the violence and looting. My words were never meant to hurt the African-American community. My use of the word “losers’ was directed at those doing the looting and vandalising and violence toward others,”

No Kevinnobodyknowswhoyouare, you said the people in Ferguson are losers and animals. Stick your fucking fake apology up your self-righteous punk ass. Oh, and get a job. I heard Bob's Car Wash is hiring....

6% of scientists are republican. Scientists have no explanation why that number is so high.

Hey Kevin,

I don't accept your non-apology apology because I don't believe you mean it. No, I can't read minds, but I can read words. Out of the mouth comes the abundance of the heart, and you, Mr. Sorbo, are a racist. I've said a lot of stupid shit when I was angry, LOTS, but this? No, this has let everyone know how you really feel about black people.  So save your non-apology apology. Honestly, if I truly thought you meant it, I'd accept it in a heartbeat.

But I just don't believe you.

Slightly Off-Topic, but WOW! Nice cover, huh?

8:31 PM PT: Dear Kevin,

This is why people are so pissed off!

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
