Are you really this stupid? Do you really think your fan base is this stupid? You have selected an all male panel to investigate the Ray Rice non-investigation. That's as absurd as when those jackasses over in Congress seated an all male panel to talk about birth control.
I'm done with the nice words and phrasing. It's time to get it right.
You selected three men to investigate the Ray Rice domestic violence incident. That's bad enough, but lets look closer into the panel.
"Former FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III will conduct an independent investigation into the NFL's pursuit and handling of evidence in the Ray Rice domestic violence incident, Commissioner Roger Goodell announced tonight. Director Mueller's investigation will be overseen by NFL owners John Mara of the New York Giants and Art Rooney of the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the final report will be made public.
"Mara and Rooney are both attorneys. Commissioner Goodell pledged that Director Mueller will have the full cooperation of NFL personnel and access to all NFL records. Mueller served as director of the FBI for 12 years (2001-2013) under two presidents. He is currently a partner in the law firm of WilmerHale and is based in Washington, DC."
Robert Mueller works for, is a partner of the WilmerHale law firm. The
WilmerHale law firm is
up to their eyeballs in
conflict of interest when it comes to this "investigation". And don't talk to me about any "Chinese Wall". That's bunk.
The two team owners are very connected to Roger Goodell. John Mara said Roger Goodell's job is not in danger. The "investigation" hasn't started yet. How does he know?
Attorney John Mara - Remember the counterfeit memorabilia stuff and the Plaxico Burress felony gun charges?
Attorney Art Rooney - Remember Ben Rothlesberger's women abuse issues?
Where are the women!?! WOMEN! PLURAL!
Take women out of those binders and put them to work on this investigation!
If you have to have a man, at least find one who has a domestic violence credential. Look, I get it why you don't want Gloria Allred, but can you at least understand how picking her would lend some credibility to your "investigation"? Ok, not Gloria? Then go for her daughter, Lisa Bloom. Why not ask Sandra Day O'Connor if she's up to it? Why not Kathleen Sebelius? None of these really have domestic violence credentials either, but they're more qualified than the trifecta of collusion you've gathered.
Ok, ok, so let's get real here. Did you contact the Guttmacher Institute? Anyone who knows both shit and shineola about domestic violence? It's obvious that thought never occurred to you.
Get a clue!
Abuse Sucks!
BTW. You know all that pink shit you plan on plastering all over your stadiums and tv spots next month? Don't bother. We see that for what it is.
9:17 PM PT: I see the NFL removed Rhianna from tonight's football game which maybe made sense to the NFL, but doesn't to any domestic abuse survivor. Why should Rihanna's music be canceled when it was Chris Brown who hit her? Rihanna sees Chris Brown in small doses, She's got this. You disrespect us all with your bumbling Mr. Goodell!
