Look is it John McCain's fault as he dashes around the world desperately trying to get the US into yet another war that he is not exactly sure who he is meeting? How would he know if they were ISIS members or not, why should he care, because he is a true patriot and a real leader in foreign wars...I mean policy.
Look just because he supported Muammar Qadhafi in 2009
Sen. John McCain, visiting Libya this past week, praised Muammar Gaddafi for his peacemaking efforts in Africa. In addition, McCain called for the U.S. Congress to expand ties with Gaddafi's government, according to Libya's state news agency.
McCain had a face-to-face meeting with Gaddafi, which he detailed on his Twitter page with the following message:
Late evening with Col. Qadhafi at his "ranch" in Libya -- interesting meeting with an interesting man.
This does not mean his assessment of character is bad after all he put that
right later on in 2011
Speaking on CBS’ “The Early Show” today, McCain twice cited the fact that Moammar Gadhafi has “American blood on his hands” as a reason the U.S. should try to oust the dictator. McCain specifically referred to the 1988 Lockerbie bombing, which was indeed carried out by a Libyan agent.
Funnily enough, once I checked how the dating system works, I realized that 1988 was in fact before 2009, hmmm.
Look John McCain knows what he is talking about and who he is talking to!
Look this is just one slip up he was crystal clear about Iraq, he of course was for the war, for the surge, for leaving if the Iraqi people asked us to and for staying for between 50 to 100 years if no Americans got hurt. Crystal clear.
He looked into Putin's eyes ya know! After all John McCain is all for American wars but against anyone else's cuz terrorists and freedom, obviously Israel is an exception.
Bomb, bomb, bomb Iran.
Heck maybe we could do that as well; since we will be busy fighting ISIS in the region anyway, kill two birds with one stone so to speak.
Of course he loves our "allies"
“Thank God for the Saudis and Prince Bandar,” John McCain told CNN’s Candy Crowley in January 2014. “Thank God for the Saudis and Prince Bandar, and for our Qatari friends,” the senator said once again a month later, at the Munich Security Conference.
Now Saudi Arabia like ISIS have a
tendency to behead people they don't like in public for such henious crimes as sorcery, apostasy and adultery, and have
truly inspired views about women's rights.
Under the discriminatory Saudi guardianship system, girls and women are forbidden from traveling, conducting official business, or undergoing certain medical procedures without permission from their male guardians. In July, after a car chase by religious police left the driver dead and his wife and daughter in critical condition, King Fahd hospital in Baha postponed amputating the wife’s hand because she had no male legal guardian to authorize the procedure, Okaz newspaper reported.
Perhaps we should treat our
foreign workers just like they do:
Even as a white collar worker in Saudi Arabia, I found that merely leaving the country on holiday required an exit visa, which was only issued once the authorities had established that there were no outstanding debts, traffic violations (which was ironic, for as a woman I was not allowed to drive), warrants, etc. Mark Lagon on the US state department blog commented: "This system, which is seen throughout the Gulf, is compounded in Saudi Arabia by the disproportionate power given to employers of housemaids, construction workers, and agricultural labourers in the form of exit permits".
“Thank God for the Saudis and Prince Bandar,”, indeed praise them.
Oh and don't even think about where the money has come from to finance Al Qaeda and ISIS because the absolute monarchs in the Gulf States have everything under control, including democracy.
Look John McCain knows stuff otherwise why would he be on TeeVee every five minutes.
Trust his judgement. Sarah Palin! Oh what a maverick he is!
We really did dodge a bullet in 2008.
